Volan Watches was born from a lifelong passion for craftsmanship, design, and the thrill of the journey. As a watch enthusiast, I spent years diving deep into the world of horology—reading, collecting, and uncovering unique pieces of history. During my university years, I came across a vintage tyre watch, a timepiece that captured both my love for watches and my fascination with classic cars. That discovery never left me. It became a symbol of adventure, a reminder to savor every drive, every moment.
Years later, working in the yachting industry and spending countless hours behind the wheel of my Land Rover Defender, I realized that the same passion I felt for watches extended to cars and boats. The tiny details, the curve of a wooden deck, the sound of an engine, the click of a well-made mechanical movement, all spoke to a deeper appreciation of craftsmanship and the joy of the ride itself.
During my time in yachting, I also started my own watch brand, an incredible journey that eventually led to successfully selling the company. But the passion for watches never faded. It stayed with me, waiting for the right moment to surface again. And that moment came with Volan, a passion project that brings together everything I love: watches, classic cars, and the timeless elegance of yachting.
